About
Jackson Bianco’s love for design began at just 14 years old, when he built his first desk for his room. This initial project sparked a deep passion for furniture and woodworking, leading him to pursue formal education in design at Colorado College in 2020. During his time there, Jackson not only honed his woodworking skills but also expanded his expertise to include metal and stone fabrication, blending these elements to create modern, organic pieces.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jackson returned to his hometown after graduating from Colorado College in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Design. Now, he is dedicated to crafting unique, handmade furniture that merges the timeless aesthetics of mid-century modern design with the simplicity and elegance of Japanese craftsmanship. Jackson believes that furniture should not only serve a function but also bring a sense of calm and connection to the natural world.
Looking to the future, Jackson aspires to push the boundaries of sustainable design, incorporating reclaimed materials and eco-friendly practices into his collections. When not in the workshop, he enjoys hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, where the serenity and beauty of the natural landscape deeply influence his approach to design and material selection.
Jackson also values the collaborative process, working closely with clients to create bespoke pieces that perfectly fit their space and style. Whether developing new designs or crafting custom commissions, he is committed to ensuring that every piece is not only functional but also a work of art that resonates with the client’s personal aesthetic.
